    The damaged backbone cable has been successfully repaired and all affected fibre connections have been restored.

    The outage was caused by damage to the main backbone cable during municipal works. Our technicians have completed the repairs, and services should now be restored for all affected customers.

    If you are still experiencing connectivity issues, please reboot your router, fibre equipment, and any connected networking devices, then test your connection again.

    Our technicians are currently repairing the damaged cable. The repair requires pulling over 50 meters of new cable and re-splicing all affected connections.

    We have identified the problem, a big cable break at the corner of van der merwe and Lindley Street. This affects all the clients as it is our Main cable that is there. We will only be able to fix it by tomorrow.
